Customer Service Representative

Summary / General Description:

Customer Service is responsible for starting and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers and new prospects. Communicate needs, issues, and concerns. The key is to develop a partnership.

Reports to: Marketing / Sales Manager

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between the company and our valued customers.
• Set up, maintain and work within a customer's portal and use the portal to manage customer accounts, retrieve and pay invoices, track orders, access technical support and documentation, etc.
• Respond to customer order delivery changes and alert Production and Sales when needed.
• Assist in the investigation and resolution of customer concerns and discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Use the computer system, answer phone calls, and emails in a timely manner.
• Enter RFQ's, Customer Orders and Acknowledgments.
• Create and maintain customer and prospect files.
• Support our Sales and Customer Service team as needed.
• Attend weekly L10 and Production Meetings and giving feedback from Customers to Production and vice versa.
• Other duties as assigned.

Educational Level:

• High School Diploma / or Equivalent
• College Degree a plus

Previous Experience:

• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and exceptional email etiquette.
• Excellent typing skill with 40 wpm and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to multitask and keep a positive attitude while building relationships with our customers and your co-workers.
• Must have tremendous communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience dealing with customers on the phone is a plus.
• Customer Service experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Prior ERP (Visual) experience is a plus.
• Prior SmartViews experience is a plus.
• Must be able to work in an office environment.

Physical Demands:

• Generally, works in an office environment. Extended hours may be required on rare occasions
