Manufacturing Sales Representative

Summary / General Description:

Sales Representative is responsible for starting and growing positive relationships with existing customers and new prospects by communicating and dealing with needs, issues, and concerns while maintaining revenue growth and profitability.

Reports to: Marketing / Sales Manager

Essential Duties / Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationship Management:
  • Sales play a crucial role in establishing and nurturing relationships with both existing customers and new prospects. This involves understanding their needs, being a subject matter expert on our capabilities, and responding to issues and concerns effectively.
• Partnership Development:
  • The goal is to develop a collaborative partnership with customers and prospects, where both parties benefit. This approach fosters loyalty and long-term business relationships.
• Revenue Generation:
  • The primary focus of the sales is to drive revenue growth while ensuring that the business is profitable.
• Generate new sales through hunting and prospecting while also learning and anticipating current customer needs.
• Enter and prepare RFQ's for customers and prospects.
• Communicate with customers and co-workers professionally.
• Use the computer system, answer phone calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Support our Sales and Customer Service team as needed.
• Attend weekly L10 and Meetings and give feedback from Customers to sales team.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Up to 30% travel

Previous Experience:

• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and exceptional email etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to multitask and keep a positive attitude while building relationships with our customers and your co-workers.
• Must have tremendous communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience dealing with Business-to-Business customers.
• Experienced in CNC machining.
• Relevant engineering experience is a plus.
• Prior ERP (Visual) experience is a plus.

Physical Demands:

• Generally, works in an office environment. Extended hours may be required on rare occasions.
