Material Planner

General Description / Summary - Under direction of the Materials Manager the job will be responsible for daily schedule Maintenance, working on purchasing and supporting Inventory Control.

Reports to - Materials Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities-

1. Modify and maintain the schedule to support internal and external customers
2. Issue purchase orders and quote items as needed
3. Help to monitor and maintain Inventory Control
4. Creating and maintaining Work Orders
5. Assist with closing and cleaning up Invoicing issues
6. Other duties as assigned to help control and improve Internal and External customer needs

Qualifications-

Experience in manufacturing scheduling using ERP systems, inventory control, knowledge of manufacturing and use of Microsoft software. Experience using Visual Software would be beneficial, but not required.

Educational Level-

Degree in Material/Manufacturing fields or equivalent training/experience

Previous Experience-

• 5+experience in scheduling using ERP systems
• Experience in production inventory control or supply chain
• Experience in issuing PO's or Customer Service
• Customer service and manufacturing experience are a plus

Physical Demands-

• Sitting for long periods of time
• Will be expected to spend time in plant as needed for various projects
